Job summary

Illumina in Singapore is hiring an Equipment Engineer 1 (Calibration) to provide technical leadership in a high-volume manufacturing setting, focusing on calibration. You will be the Calibration SME to lead and support all calibration activities and improvement projects.

You will train Production Maintenance Technicians, supervise PMTs, and ensure GMP documentation is completed and compliant, while driving continuous improvement and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Pneumatic diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, Quality, work safety instructions & practices.
• Complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• High level of discipline and integrity.
• Able to undertake multiple tasks and rotate jobs.
• Must identify colors for components/chemicals.
• Lead and mentor PMTs and drive calibration KPI.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise during internal/external audits.
• Conduct training to technicians and users on equipment calibration.
• Execute routine and calibration work orders as assigned.
• Maintain GMP documentation related to calibration.
• Review/update Calibration Work Instructions or procedures.
• Review/approve calibration changes and equipment calibration assessments.
• Lead calibration-related activities and improvement projects.
• Investigate incidents and provide guided reports.
• Lead and mentor a team to meet calibration KPIs and corporate targets.
• Coordinate and prioritize activities based on production needs.
