Five Oars Coffee Roasters PTE. LTD. is seeking a front-of-house team member to deliver exceptional hospitality and guest service in a vibrant cafe environment.

You will guide customers through menus, handle orders with the POS system, and collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Weekend availability and a friendly, proactive attitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in food & beverage or retail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guest interactions
• Proven ability to work well in a team with a friendly, approachable attitude
• High initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays
• Commitment to a 5-day work week

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and efficient customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
• Provide accurate menu recommendations to assist customers in their choices
• Process customer orders accurately using the POS system
• Ensure timely preparation and serving of all menu items during service periods
• Set and clear tables to maintain a clean dining environment
• Support the shift manager in planning and organizing special events
• Communicate customer feedback promptly to the shift manager for resolution
• Adhere to food and beverage safety and hygiene standards during all tasks
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager to support café operations
