Job summary

ASIA WK MAURICE PTE. LTD. is seeking a cafe supervisor to oversee daily operations, guide a team of staff, and ensure excellent customer service. The role includes scheduling, maintaining quality standards, and managing inventory to minimise wastage.

You will monitor safety, adhere to SOPs, and support promotions while preparing operational reports for management review.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising cafe staff and ensuring service standards.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
• Ability to monitor quality, inventory, and costs.
• Proven track record in staff scheduling and operating reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cafe operations including opening/closing.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage manpower requirements.
• Monitor food & beverage quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and safety requirements.
• Manage inventory, ordering, stock levels, and minimise wastage.
• Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and operating expenses.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Train and develop staff to improve service standards and product knowledge.
• Maintain cleanliness and overall presentation of the cafe.
• Support promotions, events, and activities to drive sales.
• Prepare basic operational reports and provide feedback to management.
• Ensure policies and SOPs are followed consistently.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
