Job summary

MEASURE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced cafe operations lead to support all areas of the cafe and manage daily outlet performance in Singapore.

You will ensure outstanding guest experience, coordinate with the kitchen and barista teams, and supervise opening/closing, inventory, and staff scheduling. A background in bakery, pastry, and specialty coffee is preferred.

Qualifications

• Team player with willingness to support in all cafe areas.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Must be responsible, motivated with a positive attitude.
• Minimum education: Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College; Professional Certificate/NiTEC or equivalent.
• Experience in F&B, especially bakery, pastry, and specialty coffee is required.
• At least 5 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily management of outlet operations.
• Communicates with guests and answers queries.
• Maintains high store cleanliness and appearance.
• Has knowledge of ingredients used in our products.
• Handles opening and closing of the store and daily operations.
• Ensures efficient and friendly customer service.
• Oversees beverage service; barista experience is a plus.
• Keeps track of accounts (invoices, receipts), handles sales transactions and banking duties.
• Ensures excellent guest experience and professional communication with guests and staff.
• Manages daily operations, opening/closing procedures.
• Manages, trains, monitors and schedules staff.
• Deals with personal and corporate orders, delivery orders, and product recommendations.
• Costs all products and works to maximize profits with efficient scheduling and inventory control.
• Liaises with suppliers for ordering and inventory.
• Ensures licensing and safety regulations are up to date.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and genuine care.
• Displays a deep passion for hospitality.
