Job summary

HKS ENGINEERING & TRADING PTE. LTD. seeks a skilled drafter to translate specifications into technical drawings and BIM models. You will convert site survey data into AutoCAD drawings, and craft detailed shop and as-built drawings to support project execution.

The role requires proficiency in 2D/3D CAD, BIM, MS Office, and meticulous attention to detail. You will review contractor drawings, ensure timely delivery, and contribute to project planning and cost estimates as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM software.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Acquire site survey data and develop information into AutoCAD drawings.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabricate drawings and as-built drawings.
• Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
• Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
• Interpret and check drawings or plans from contractors or consultants on design and construction aspects.
• Ensure on-time completion of required drawings.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• a. Acquire site survey data and develop information into AutoCAD drawings.
• b. Prepare detailed shop drawing, fabricate drawings and as built drawing.
• c. Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
• d. Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• e. Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
• f. Able to interpret and check drawings or plan from contractors or consultants on design and construction aspect.
• g. Ensure on time completion on required drawing.
• h. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• i. Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.

Skills/Qualifications: Knowledge of AutoCAD an BIM. Proficient in computer skills with good working knowledge of 2D, 3D, AutoCAD & BIM. Excellent interpersonal skills with keen attention to details. Ability to learn and work independently. Adept to Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power point).
