Job summary

LHN Group Pte Ltd is seeking a Solutions Architect (C&I Solar) to own the front end of Commercial & Industrial solar opportunities. You will understand client sites and energy needs, then develop technically sound, costed solar solutions in collaboration with BD and the EPC team.

You will assess feasibility, prepare preliminary designs, perform sizing analyses, and provide the technical basis for commercial proposals, while working closely with clients and cross-functional teams in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years in solar PV design, C&I EPC, renewable energy solutions or pre-sales/solutions roles.
• Strong understanding of C&I rooftop solar PV systems and site feasibility.
• Knowledge of LV electrical systems, grid connection and PV components.
• Experience in project costing, BOQ prep and validating technical assumptions.
• Familiarity with Singapore's regulatory and grid requirements (SP PowerGrid, EMA, LEW/QP).
• Proficiency in PV design and simulation software (PVsyst/Helioscope) and AutoCAD.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments at C&I premises, including roof area, loading, orientation, shading, and access.
• Engage with clients to understand energy requirements, load, tariff, budget and financing model (PPA/leasing).
• Develop preliminary solar PV designs: layouts, string configurations and inverter selection.
• Perform energy yield and sizing analysis using PV design tools like PVsyst or Helioscope.
• Prepare project costing and BoQ covering equipment, BOS, mounting structures and install needs.
• Assess regulatory and grid connection requirements and implications.
• Prepare clear technical scope and costing packages for the BD team.
• Support BD during tender submissions and client presentations.
• Work with EPC/installation team to ensure buildable and compliant designs.
• Coordinate with LEW/QP on SLDs and regulatory submissions as required.
