Job summary

GetSolar is seeking a driven Engineering/PM professional to support C&I rooftop solar projects in Singapore. You will assist planning, design, and on-site feasibility, coordinating with sub-contractors, and driving O&M activities to minimize downtime and costs.

The role requires 2–3 years in rooftop solar sales or project management, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD and OpenSolar.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in rooftop solar sales or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical design concepts and solar project engineering.
• Experience with OpenSolar and AutoCAD.
• Strong English communication and independent work skills.
• Interest in renewable energy and its prospects.

Responsibilities

• Support project management and smooth execution for C&I projects—from planning to commissioning.
• Develop and streamline operating procedures for solar engineering and project management.
• Conduct on-site visits and feasibility studies to optimise rooftop solar systems.
• Design rooftop solar PV systems and stringing, using AutoCAD or OpenSolar.
• Assist on project management, scheduling, and coordinating with sub-contractors.
• Drive Operations and Maintenance (O&M) on C&I projects to minimise downtime and costs.
• Help manage the pipeline of leads and projects.
• Support on all C&I activities in Singapore, including proposal preparation, sales follow-ups, site surveys, and gathering all relevant documentation.
• Build up procurement channels and sub-contractor network.
• Help manage relationships with various equipment vendors, contractors, and third-party engineering firms.
