Job summary

The Garcha Group, Singapore’s boutique hotel group, invites guest-focused professionals to join our front-of-house team. You will meet and greet guests, escort them and their luggage, and provide room orientation to ensure a welcoming start to every stay.

Role includes assisting with In-Room Dining, Reservations, and coordinating with other departments to deliver exceptional service while maintaining high standards of etiquette and discretion throughout the guest journey.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests upon arrival/farewell.
• Escort guests and luggage within the hotel premises and provide a room orientation.
• Assist with in-room dining, restaurant reservations, and reservations of attractions for guests.
• Respond to guests and coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B to provide the best service.
• Keep track of guest preferences and requests (e.g., pillow types, temperatures, wake-up times).
• Report and document any guest incidents or unusual occurrences per procedures.
• Uphold etiquette, service, and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a well-groomed appearance as per company standard.


• Meet and greet guests upon arrival/farewell.


• Escort guests and luggae within the hotel premises and provide a room orientation.


• Able to provide guest satisfaction experiences such as hotel tour, explanation of services, as well as assist with luggage handling, unpacking and packing services.


• Handle check-out procedures smoothly, ensuring guest satisfaction.


• Assist with In-Room Dining, Restaurant Reservations, Reservations of Attractions for guests.


• Respond to guests and work closely with other departments within the hotel; Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B etc to provide the best service for hotel guests.


• Keep track and attend to guest preferences and requests (eg. Pillow type, room temperatures, wake-up times).


• Coordinate special food requests (eg. dietary needs etc.).


• Be familiar with and promote hotel facilities, provide destination information and local recommendations.


• Be available for guest needs at any time during their stay.


• Report and document any guest incidents, accidents or unusual occurrences in line with company procedures.


• Upholding the highest standards of etiquette, service, and professionalism


• Handle matters with discretion and professionalism.


• Any other duties / tasks as requested by management.
