Job summary

The Garcha Group is seeking meticulous housekeeping associates to maintain exceptional room standards across our Marriott-affiliated properties in Singapore. You will follow established cleaning procedures, ensure guest rooms are spotless, and replenish amenities to enhance guest comfort.

Role requires physical activity and the ability to work on a schedule. Opportunities include cross-property exposure, ongoing training, and Marriott benefits as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures accurately
• Good physical stamina and mobility for daily tasks

Responsibilities

• Follow Marriott’s ABCs of Housekeeping.
• Clean showers, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors.
• Strip and remake beds, change linens as required.
• Dust furniture, pictures, shelves and window ledges.
• Vacuum rooms and empty trash; replenish amenities and supplies.
• Accept tasks and assist with laundry or public areas as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Follow Marriott’s “ABCs of Housekeeping”
• Clean shower, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
• Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock carts. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
• Assist with laundry or public area whenever needed.
• On time and at work when scheduled and in proper uniform.
• Any other duties/tasks as requested by management.
