Ginkakuji Onishi in Singapore is seeking a motivated team member to assist in meat cutting, packaging, and customer service. The role emphasizes learning, reliability, and hands-on work in a fast-paced retail setting.
You will help with meat preparation, stock replenishment, and maintaining hygienic work areas while delivering friendly and informative service to customers. Training will be provided and weekend shifts are required.

No butchering experience is required — what matters most is your attitude and willingness to improve.
Perform basic meat cutting including trimming and slicing beef and pork
Mince meat and assist with basic meat preparation and processing
Weigh, label and package meat products neatly
Attend to customers’ enquiries and provide friendly and courteous service
Recommend suitable meat cuts and cooking methods to customers
Handle cashier duties when required
Arrange and replenish meat products in the display chiller
Receive, organize and replenish stock
Arrange dry and retail items neatly on shelves and maintain proper FIFO rotation
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of equipment, work areas and retail areas
Learn and develop knowledge of different cuts of beef and pork, including recommended cooking methodsMince beef and pork products
Perform any ad-hoc duties that assigned by superior
Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn new skills
Takes pride in providing good customer service and quality products
Works well as part of a team and is willing to help others when needed
Is responsible, punctual and takes ownership of assigned tasks
Is willing to learn about meat, Japanese food and our way of serving customers
Can work efficiently and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
Is comfortable with hands-on work, including meat preparation, cleaning and restocking
Is able to work on weekends and public holidays
F&B, retail or butchering experience is an advantage, but not essential
Possessing a valid food handler’s certificate (Food Safety Course Level 1 or higher)
