Job summary

Huber's Butchery is seeking a friendly, dependable cashier to join our team. You will handle POS transactions, assist customers, and help provide an enjoyable shopping experience.

You should be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays; benefits include staff discounts and opportunities for career growth. The role pays SGD 2,200 to SGD 2,400 per month, based at 22 Dempsey Road, Singapore 249679.

Qualifications

• Experience using a POS system.
• At least 1 year in cashier, retail or customer service.
• Enjoy interacting with customers and delivering excellent service.
• Confident English communication.
• Honest, dependable and accountable.
• Team player, able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation on all modes of payment.
• Process customer purchases and transactions efficiently.
• Attend to customers' enquiries and feedback.
• Provide service with high integrity.
• Assist in service when needed.
• Read and record total on the cash register and verify against cash on hand.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

What You'll Do

• Reconciliation on all modes of payment
• To process customer's purchases and transactions in friendly and efficient manner
• To attend to customers' enquiries and feedback
• Service oriented with high level of integrity
• To assist in Service from time to time when necessary
• Read and record total shown on cash register tape and verify against cash on hand
• Perform other duties from time to time as directed from supervisor

Who You Are

• You have experience using a POS system.
• Preferably, you have at least one year of experience in a cashier, retail or customer service role.
• You enjoy interacting with customers and delivering excellent service.
• You communicate confidently in English.
• You're honest, dependable and take accountability for your work.
• You're a team player who can work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
