Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore invites applications for a two-year contract Lecturer, Common Business Programme in the School of Business & Accountancy. You will deliver workshop-style lessons to PET full-time students and CET adult learners, and contribute to curriculum development.

The ideal candidate will combine teaching passion with industry insight, review materials, manage modules, mentor students, and foster partnerships with industry for internships and overseas study initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant business, finance, analytics or digital product design experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and UX/UI design tools; interest in AI-powered tools.
• Up-to-date with financial regulations, market trends, and new tech.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring both PET students and CET learners.
• Ability to design engaging curricula and data-driven case studies.
• Self-driven; collaborates in a multi-disciplinary academic team.

Responsibilities

• ConduCt high-quality workshop-style lessons and facilitate learning for PET full-time students and CET adult learners.
• Develop and review innovative teaching and assessment materials aligned with industry trends.
• Stay current with trends across business and digital domains; upskill and cross-train as curriculum evolves.
• Handle administrative duties related to teaching, module management, and student grading.
• Support student development through academic consultation, mentorship, and industry projects.
• Support school outreach events and recruitment initiatives.
• Identify and establish collaborations with industry partners for curriculum enrichment and internships.
• Organize overseas learning journeys, study trips, immersion programs and student exchanges.
