Job summary

The Singapore Public Service invites applications for an academic role that blends teaching, curriculum development, and industry engagement. You will conduct and develop PET and CET materials, provide operational support, and help build sustainability networks and alumni engagement.

Successful candidates will mentor students and adult learners, lead strategic initiatives, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes for lifelong learning and student success.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in STEM or sustainability-related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in nutrition, exercise science, chemistry, environmental/chemical engineering, food science, environmental sustainability or biotechnology.
• Experience engaging internal and external stakeholders to drive initiatives and maintain good rapport with stakeholders and alumni.
• Passionate about education and guiding PET and CET students.
• Self-driven, independent and team-oriented.
• People-oriented with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Keen to develop new capabilities through projects and self-directed learning.
• Technologically proficient with MS Office, AI tools, and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct, review and develop teaching and assessment materials for PET and CET courses.
• Provide operational and administrative support to PET and CET courses (including supervising student projects and internships) and school initiatives.
• Build capabilities in sustainability and establish a network of partnerships with government agencies, training providers, industry associations and stakeholders to support PET, CET and IE.
• Develop and sustain the CLS alumni community, driving engagement initiatives with measurable outcomes aligned with lifelong learning and student success.
