HL Assurance Pte. Ltd. is looking for a Business Manager, Distribution to drive growth across multi-channel distribution, build strong partner relationships, and translate market insight into action. You will deliver new business revenue, retain existing business, and lead joint planning with new partners.

You will shape value propositions, support a direct sales strategy for SMEs, and work with stakeholders to identify trends and opportunities that enable profitable growth.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or diploma in Business Management, Marketing or related field.
• SC Insurance certification: General Insurance (BCP, PGI, ComGI) and Health Insurance (HI).
• At least 3 years’ experience in multi-channel distribution, ideally with a general insurer.
• Strong commercial and financial skills; able to turn numbers into insights and clear plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven team player who works independently and manages time well.

Business Manager, Distribution

The role

Reporting to the Head of Distribution, drive profitable growth across our multi-channel distribution portfolio. You’ll build strong partner relationships, win new business and turn market insight into action.

What you’ll do

Grow the business and partnerships

• Deliver new business revenue and retain existing business across multiple channels.


• Build lasting relationships with new and existing distribution partners.


• Help shape value propositions and lead joint business planning with new partners.


• Support a direct sales strategy for SMEs to grow commercial and personal lines.

Know the market

• Analyse intermediaries’ production, profitability and segments, and keep a playbook that grows HLA’s share of wallet.


• Research the market and benchmark industry best practice.


• Work with stakeholders to spot emerging trends and buying patterns that support profitable growth.

Work across the business

• Influence product, digitalisation, operational efficiency and marketing initiatives.


• Recommend process and product improvements.

What you bring

• A degree/diploma in Business Management, Marketing or a related field


• Singapore College of Insurance certifications in General Insurance (BCP, PGI, ComGI) and Health Insurance (HI).
