HL Assurance Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager for Commercial Insurance - Policy Admin to lead the Policy Administration Department in Singapore.

The role centers on maintaining policies, supervising Officers, and ensuring efficient processing of personal and commercial lines. Candidates should have a Diploma with 6+ years in policy processing, strong MS Office skills, and leadership abilities. • At least 6 years of policy processing experience.
• GI certificates will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and review Company’s policies and standard procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of work processes.
• Manage and supervise a team of Policy Admin Officers, oversee and ensure the smooth daily operation of the Policy Administration Department.
• Assist to handle new businesses and renewals endorsements for Personal and Commercial Lines, according to stipulated turnaround time and Company’s service standards. Those with experience and knowledge on Commercial Lines will be prioritized.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff to improve the accuracy and quality of work output.
• Prepare monthly management reports and assist to gather quarterly presentation materials for board meetings.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Operation and Technology directly, you will be responsible to

• Maintain and review Company’s policies and standard procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of work processes
• Manage and supervise a team of Policy Admin Officers, oversee and ensure the smooth daily operation of the Policy Administration Department
• Assist to handle new businesses and renewals endorsements for Personal and Commercial Lines, according to stipulated turnaround time and Company’s service standards. Those with experience and knowledge on Commercial Lines will be prioritized.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff to improve the accuracy and quality of work output
• Prepare monthly management reports and assist to gather quarterly presentation materials for board meetings

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business Studies/Administration or any relevant discipline, additional GI certificates will be advantageous.
• At least 6 years of policy processing experience, preferably in direct general insurance industry
• Proficient in MS Office
• Dynamic, energetic, and self-motivated
• Strong teamwork, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
