Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior BI/Data Architect to define and drive the data strategy for manufacturing and supply chain. You will architect and manage BI platforms delivering insights on cost optimization, efficiency, and supply chain performance, while leading a high-performing BI team.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, finance, IT, and R&D to ensure timely, accurate data flows and strategic decision support.

Qualifications

• Degree in information systems, data analytics, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive BI/data strategy experience in manufacturing/tech/supply chain.
• Proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python); strong C-Core and Power BI skills.

Job description

Architect, build, and manage BI platforms that deliver actionable insights across cost optimization, operational efficiency, supply chain performance, and order fulfillment.

Lead, coach, and develop the BI/data team, fostering alignment with strategic priorities and enhancing team capabilities.

Manage the full lifecycle of BI projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and stakeholder engagement.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (manufacturing, procurement, logistics, finance, IT, R&D) to enable accurate, timely, and actionable data flows.

Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership to support decision-making and drive operational excellence.

Support global business operations, with the flexibility to travel internationally as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in BI, data strategy, or MIS within manufacturing, technology, or supply chain sectors.
• Advanced expertise in data analysis, modeling, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python.
• Proficiency in C-Core and Power BI is a must. (Experience with SAP BW or FineReport is a plus).
