Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and expanding the Company's business by identifying new project opportunities, securing new clients, maintaining existing client relationships, and achieving business growth and revenue targets.

The role involves developing business opportunities with developers, main contractors, consultants, subcontractors and other industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential projects and business opportunities.


• Conduct market research and monitor construction industry trends, upcoming developments and competitor activities.


• Develop strategies to increase the Company's market presence and secure new projects.


• Establish and maintain relationships with developers, main contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors and other relevant stakeholders.


• Attend industry networking events, meetings, exhibitions and business functions to develop new contacts and opportunities


• Monitor and identify suitable construction tenders and project opportunities.


• Review tender invitations, project requirements, specifications, scope of works and commercial conditions.


• Assess potential projects and provide recommendations to Management on whether to participate in tenders.


• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.


• Conduct regular client visits and meetings to understand their current and future project requirements.


• Identify opportunities for repeat business and additional works from existing clients.


• Respond promptly to client enquiries and coordinate internally to provide suitable solutions.


• Maintain regular follow-up with clients throughout the tender, negotiation and award process.


• Obtain market and client feedback to assist Management in improving the Company's services and competitiveness.


• Develop and implement short-term and long-term business development strategies.


• Identify new market segments, services and customer groups that may contribute to the Company's growth.


• Analyse competitors' pricing, capabilities and market positioning.


• Provide Management with recommendations based on market conditions and business opportunities.
