Job summary

safi equipment & services pte ltd seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in fire protection systems. You will identify new projects, build relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, building owners and end users, and grow sales of fire protection solutions.

• Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat business, maintenance contracts and additional works.
• Attend site meetings, client meetings and site surveys to understand and propose suitable fire protection solutions.

• Maintain good relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat business, maintenance contracts and additional works.
• Attend site meetings, client meetings and site surveys to understand and propose suitable fire protection solutions.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant sales/business development experience, preferably in the fire protection industry.
• Experience in preparing quotations, tenders, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong knowledge and experience in fire protection systems.
• Familiarity with SCDF Fire Code, relevant Singapore Standards/Codes of Practice and fire safety requirements is highly advantageous.
• Able to understand technical specifications, tender documents, drawings and BOQ.
• Existing network with main contractors, M& E contractors, consultants, developers, building owners and/or facility management companies is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
