Job summary

Lynqra, a Singapore AI company, is hiring a Business Development Intern to help the founder build partnerships and move sales. You’ll be in the pipeline and work hybrid in Singapore.

You’ll source and qualify SME leads, run outreach, and build a partnerships network with grant consultants and training academies. Mandarin is a plus but not required; you’ll learn by doing and own conversations with business owners.

Qualifications

• Interest in AI, sales, or startups and willingness to learn by doing.
• BD internship or similar experience is a plus.
• Mandarin is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Source and qualify Singapore SME leads (ops-heavy teams drowning in repetitive admin).
• Run outreach: LinkedIn, email, warm intros. Book conversations, not just collect contacts.
• Build a partnership pipeline: grant consultants, training academies, consulting firms, and other operators who already sit in front of SMEs.
• Support the first consult: AI readiness, low-hanging fruit, what to automate vs keep human.
• Keep a clean pipeline: who we spoke to, what’s next, what stalled.
• Help turn wins and case studies into material for the next prospect.
• Like talking to business owners and don’t freeze on a cold message.
• Write clearly and follow up without being asked twice.
• Are curious about AI, sales, or startups, and want to learn by doing.

We’re hiring a Business Development Intern to help the founder build partnerships and get sales moving. This is not a research-only seat. You’ll be in the pipeline.

What you’ll do

• Source and qualify Singapore SME leads (ops-heavy teams drowning in repetitive admin)
• Run outreach: LinkedIn, email, warm intros. Book conversations, not just collect contacts
• Build a partnership pipeline: grant consultants, training academies, consulting firms, and other operators who already sit in front of SMEs
• Support the first consult: AI readiness, low-hanging fruit, what to automate vs keep human
• Keep a clean pipeline: who we spoke to, what’s next, what stalled
• Help turn wins and case studies into something we can actually send to the next prospect
• Like talking to business owners and don’t freeze on a cold message
• Write clearly and follow up without being asked twice
• Are curious about AI, sales, or startups, and want to learn by doing
• Can work in Singapore (hybrid, with some face-to-face)
• Bonus: you’ve sold, interned in BD, or already have a network in SMEs, HR, logistics, trading, or professional services. Mandarin is a plus, not required.
