Job summary

Aries Fresh Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to identify new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and drive sales growth in the fresh produce and food processing sector.

You will develop new customers, maintain existing relationships, promote the company’s products, prepare proposals, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Willingness to travel for client visits is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• Previous experience in business development, sales, or customer relationship management is preferred.
• Experience in fresh produce trading, food distribution, food processing, or FMCG will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet sales targets and manage multiple accounts.
• Willing to travel for customer visits and BD activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the fresh produce and food processing industry.
• Source and develop new customers, including supermarkets, wholesalers, retailers, food service operators, restaurants, caterers, and food manufacturers.
• Promote the Company's fresh vegetables, processed vegetables, and processed fruit products.
• Develop sales strategies and action plans to achieve assigned sales targets.
• Prepare quotations, sales proposals, and product presentations for prospective customers.
• Negotiate pricing, sales terms, and business agreements within the Company's approved guidelines.
• Explore new markets, distribution channels, and business partnerships to increase sales revenue.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Processing, Operations, and Finance to fulfill customer requirements.
• Ensure customer orders align with product availability, processing capacity, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Follow up on order fulfilment and resolve sales-related operational issues.
• Monitor customer payment terms and follow up on overdue accounts with Finance.
• Ensure customer commitments are commercially viable and within policies.
