Job summary

Smile Point is seeking a friendly front desk associate to support three clinics in Singapore. If you have experience in retail, F&B, or hotel front desk, you already have much of what we need.

You will handle check-ins, bookings, payments, and basic insurance claims, with a structured induction and clear path from Trainee to Senior Associate. The role offers a 5-day week, weekend shifts, competitive salary of SGD 2,500–3,000, CPF, paid leave, and opportunities for courses.

Qualifications

• Local diploma or degree in any subject.
• Service experience in retail, F&B, hotel, or call centre.
• Clear written and spoken communication.
• Willingness to learn new computer systems.
• No healthcare or dental experience required.

Job description

If you have worked retail, F&B or a hotel front desk, you already have most of what this job needs. What you probably do not have is a schedule you can plan your week around. That is the part we are offering.

Work schedule:

5-day work week on a rotating shift, including at least one weekend day. Two rest days every week. Day shifts 8:30am to 6:15pm. No night shifts. Clinics closed on public holidays.

What you'll do

• Check patients in and out, and be the person they deal with first
• Book, confirm and move appointments across the day
• Take payments, and handle cash and card accurately
• Submit and track dental claims — CHAS, Medisave and private insurance
• Answer calls, emails and counter enquiries

What you'lllearn

• Healthcare billing and claims — CHAS, Medisave andprivate insurance. This transfers across the healthcare sector, not justdentistry.
• Clinic scheduling and patient flow, which is what keeps a three-clinic group running to time
• How to handle anxious patients. A lot of people arenervous about the dentist, and whether they come back often comes down to how they were treated at the desk.

Your firstmonth, and where it leads

• One month of structured induction, working through awritten manual and training checklist with our Ops team and senior front deskstaff as your mentors
• Trainee to Business Associate: 3 to 6 months
• Higher pay grade at around one year
• Business Associate to Senior Business Associate: 2 to 3years
• We sponsor courses and certification for trainees, and again when you are promoted
