Jobline Resources Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a capable Business Analyst to plan and facilitate requirement workshops, translate requirements into functional specifications, and ensure traceability from design to testing. You will analyze cross-system data flows, design future-state processes, and support data migration activities.

The role involves collaborating with academic and administrative stakeholders, and shaping change readiness materials.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of business analysis experience, with ≥1 year in higher education SIS projects.
• Delivery experience on enterprise system implementation or change requests through go-live with ownership of requirements, testing or readiness.
• Strong workshop facilitation skills and confidence working with senior administrative and academic stakeholders.
• Ability to write clear, structured requirement documentation for formal review and sign-off.
• Comfortable working alongside technical teams on APIs, data and microservices based designs.

Responsabilités

• Plan and facilitate requirement workshops with academic and administrative process owners, and elaborate business processes into detailed business rules, decision logic, exception paths and role-based access.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications with clear acceptance criteria, and maintain traceability from requirement through design, build and test.
• Analyze how business processes and data operate across legacy and new platforms during co-existence, including interim processes and data source ownership.
• Design the to-be business processes and data operability.
• Support data migration through source to target mapping, data quality rules and reconciliation criteria.
• Design test scenarios, support user acceptance testing, and contribute to business readiness, training and change materials.
• Define functional requirements for integrations between SIS and surrounding enterprise/third-party systems.
• Maintain the requirements baseline through formal review and sign-off, manage changes through change control, and support phase gate reviews.

• Translate requirements into functional specifications with clear acceptance criteria, and maintain traceability from requirement through design, build and test
• Analyze how business processes and data operate across the legacy and new platforms during co-existence, including interim processes, the authoritative source of each data set at each stage, and cutover requirements.
• Design the to-be business processes and data operability.
• Support data migration through source to target mapping, data quality rules and reconciliation criteria.
• Design test scenarios, support user acceptance testing, and contribute to business readiness, training and change materials.
• Define functional requirements for integrations between the SIS and surrounding enterprise and third-party systems.
• Maintain the requirements baseline through formal review and sign-off, manage requirement changes through the agreed change control process, and support phase gate reviews.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of business analysis experience, of which at least 1 year in higher education, either on SIS projects or within an institution's academic services.
• Delivery experience on at least enterprise system implementation or change requests through to go-live, with direct ownership of requirements, testing or business readiness.
• Strong workshop facilitation skills and confidence working with senior administrative and academic stakeholders.
• Ability to write clear, structured requirement documentation of quality for formal review and sign-off.
• Comfortable working alongside technical teams on APIs, data and microservices based designs.

Preferred

• Experience with packaged or legacy SIS platforms, such as Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Workday Student, Ellucian or custom-built Oracle based systems.
• Data migration experience from Oracle databases or other legacy platforms, including mapping, cleansing and reconciliation.
• Exposure to cloud native or AWS based delivery programmes.
• Business analysis or agile certifications, such as professional scrum master.
