Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks a Business Analyst cum Tester to blend business analysis with testing expertise, ensuring solutions meet business needs while maintaining high quality and reliability.

The role supports business users in product launches, operations initiatives, and regulatory IT efforts aligned to company objectives, providing system-related business support to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis and user acceptance testing (2 years preferred).
• Knowledge of insurance operations is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand functional requirements and design comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies.
• Validate that solutions align with continuous improvement strategies and drive operational efficiency.
• Develop test scripts and execute tests throughout the application lifecycle.
• Formulate test scenarios and test plans, conduct UAT, and prepare status scorecards for stakeholders.
• Log defects with clear descriptions, steps to reproduce and potential business impacts.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve issues and drive corrective actions.
• Track and monitor defects with Tech and Ops as needed.
• Communicate test results and impacts to business analysts and stakeholders; prepare user guides and conduct training for new deployments.
• Ensure risk and compliance standards are followed for all changes.
