Job summary

SCIENTE in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support digital transformation in a highly regulated environment. You will drive end-to-end business analysis across solution design, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support, coordinating with compliance, IT, and vendors.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and regulatory awareness, with hands-on SIT/UAT, requirements gathering, and documentation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation.
• Hands-on SIT/UAT, defect management, and implementation activities.
• Designing customer-servicing platforms or digital channels.
• Experience in regulated environments (hospitality, financial services, government, etc.).
• Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across business, IT, compliance, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and translate business and regulatory requirements into specs.
• Drive end-to-end business analysis across solution design, testing, implementation, and post-go-live validation.
• Facilitate workshops with business, compliance, IT, and vendors.
• Maintain requirements traceability and ensure alignment with business and compliance.
• Support COTS evaluation, vendor coordination, and solution assessment activities.
• Define and support SIT/UAT/ORT activities, including defect tracking and resolution.
• Support implementation readiness, handover, and post-deployment validation.
• Act as the bridge between business, compliance, vendors, and technical teams throughout the project.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field;
• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role;
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and functional documentation;
• Hands-on experience supporting SIT/UAT, defect management, and implementation activities;
• Good experience in designing customer-servicing platforms or customer-facing digital channels;
• Experience working in regulated environments such as hospitality, financial services, government, or similar industries;
• Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC methodologies;
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business, IT, compliance, and vendors.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience in COTS evaluation, fit-gap analysis, or vendor management;
• Exposure to tender/RFP processes and vendor assessment activities;
• BA or Agile certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSM, or CSPO are a plus.
