Job summary

SCIENTE is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support digital transformation initiatives in a highly regulated environment. You will drive end-to-end business analysis across solution design, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support, coordinating with business, IT, compliance, and vendors.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, regulatory awareness, and robust stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and functional documentation.
• Hands-on experience supporting SIT/UAT, defect management, and implementation activities.
• Good experience in designing customer-servicing platforms or customer-facing digital channels.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as hospitality, financial services, government, or similar industries.
• Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business, IT, compliance, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and translate business and regulatory requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Drive end-to-end business analysis activities across solution design, testing, implementation, and post-go-live validation.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with business, compliance, IT, and vendor stakeholders.
• Maintain requirements traceability and ensure solutions align with business and compliance expectations.
• Support COTS evaluation, vendor coordination, and solution assessment activities.
• Define and support SIT/UAT/ORT activities, including defect tracking and resolution coordination.
• Support implementation readiness, operational handover, and post-deployment validation activities.
• Act as the key bridge between business, compliance, vendors, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field;
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role;
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and functional documentation;
• Hands-on experience supporting SIT/UAT, defect management, and implementation activities;

• BA or Agile certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSM, or CSPO are a plus.
