• Familiarity with Design Thinking and user-centered design.

We are seeking a discovery-driven Business Analyst to partner with agencies/ enterprises. You will navigate the end-to-end requirement journey—from vague initial ideas to structured technical specifications—ensuring that our digital solutions are both technically sound and user-centric.

As a Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between agency stakeholders, UX designers, and technical engineers. Your primary mission is to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements while maintaining a high standard for user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse complex business requirements/ needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals.

• Analyse business processes, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for optimisation.

• Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents that capture both functional and non-functional needs.

• Translate high-level requirements into detailed user stories, use cases, and functional requirements for development teams.

• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments to support user adoption of new initiatives.

• Apply Design Thinking principles to solve complex business problems and deliver user-centric solutions.

• Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to uncover user needs and define project scope.

• Lead the ideation, prototyping, and user testing phases to iterate and improve solutions.

• Develop empathy with end-users by conducting user research and gathering feedback through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure designs meet both business requirements and user expectations.

• Develop test scenarios and lead UAT to ensure the final build matches the defined requirements. Collaborate with QA teams on performance requirements, helping translate user load expectations into parameters for performance testing tools.

• Partner with Solution Architects and Developers to understand infrastructure constraints. Translate these technical realities into business trade-offs that stakeholders can understand.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for business requirements, providing clear communication and updates.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and aligned throughout the project.

• Prioritise competing requirements and help stakeholders make informed decisions.

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, project managers, and product owners to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.

• Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 – 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.

• Experience in QA testing (manual, functional, or UAT) and familiarity with defect management.

• Strong understanding of Scrum/Kanban methodologies and experience managing backlogs in JIRA or Confluence.

• Strong understanding of business analysis tools and techniques.

• Ability to gather and analyse complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies and user-centred design principles.

• Demonstrated experience in taking a project from an undefined "problem state" to a structured "solution roadmap".

• Strong facilitation and storytelling skills, with the ability to reconcile conflicting priorities between diverse stakeholder groups.

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle high ambiguous requirements and use cases.

• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro, FigJam or similar collaboration platforms is preferred.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Software or IT background.

• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or IIBA-AAC are a plus.

• Familiarity with UX/UI design tools (e.g., Figma) is a bonus.

• Experience in writing test cases, creating test plans, and performing end-to-end testing.

• Understanding of performance testing (e.g., JMeter, k6) validation of non-functional requirements
