Job summary

JAC Recruitment seeks a Business Analyst to focus on Loan and Trade operations, driving transformation and continuous improvement across banking processes in Singapore. You will map current workflows, propose To-Be designs, and collaborate with automation teams to implement improvements.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in business/finance or IT, at least 3 years in Loan/Trade operations, and strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred in Business, Finance, Banking, IT or related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to evaluate and optimize workflows.
• Strong documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder communication abilities.
• Experience with loan or trade finance operations and related banking processes is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
• Analyze and document As‑Is operational workflows within Loan and Trade functions.
• Design and recommend To‑Be processes to improve efficiency and control.
• Partner with automation and technology teams to support development, testing, and migration of process improvements.
• Facilitate communication among business users, IT teams, vendors, and HQ to address requirements and issues.
• Prepare and maintain high-quality business process documentation and diagrams.

Our client is a leading IT consulting company in Japan, supporting clients’ transformation of management, business, and IT.

We are looking for a Business Analysis to focus on the Loan and Trade operations domain, supporting transformation and continuous improvement projects across the bank.

The team drives end-to-end operational workflow improvement initiatives and is responsible for enhancing operational efficiency through process optimization and automation.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including Project Managers (PMs), PMO teams, branch users, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
• Analyze and document existing (As-Is) operational workflows within Loan and Trade functions.
• Design and recommend future-state (To-Be) processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and control through process enhancements and automation solutions.
• Partner with automation and technology teams to support the development, testing, implementation, and migration of process improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among business users, IT teams, external vendors, and headquarters teams to address project requirements, issues, and inquiries.
• Prepare and maintain high-quality business process documentation, workflow diagrams, and project-related deliverables.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Loan and/or Trade Operations within the banking industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operational workflow improvement, process transformation, or related banking projects.
• Strong knowledge of Loan and/or Trade Finance operations and related banking processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate and optimize operational workflows.
• Strong documentation skills, including process mapping and workflow documentation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, IT teams, external vendors, and regional/headquarters stakeholders.
• Experience in automation, process improvement, or digital transformation initiatives will be an added advantage.
