Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a skilled Functional Business Analyst for a banking transformation project focused on SME loan origination. You will gather requirements from business stakeholders, document functional specs, and support the delivery of lending solutions for SME customers.

The role requires strong domain knowledge in lending, credit assessment, and end-to-end workflows. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in SME/Commercial Lending, BRD/FRD creation, and coordinating SIT/UAT with business

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Functional BA in Banking/FS.
• Strong knowledge of SME/Commercial Lending lifecycle.
• Experience with BRDs, FRDs, process flows, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• SIT/UAT coordination and business validation experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SME Banking, Credit, Risk and ops to capture lending requirements.
• Document end-to-end SME loan origination process from application to disbursement.
• Analyze existing lending processes and identify improvements and system enhancements.
• Translate requirements into BRDs, FRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare functional specs, flows, BRDs; sign-off with stakeholders.
• Support SIT/UAT, test scenarios, and coordinate with users.
• Assist production rollout and post-implementation validation.

To perform the Functional Business Analyst role for a banking transformation project supporting the end-to-end SME loan origination journey. The role will focus on understanding business processes, gathering requirements from business stakeholders, defining functional requirements and supporting the delivery of lending solutions for SME customers.

Responsibilities

• o Work closely with business stakeholders, SME Banking, Credit, Risk, Operations and other relevant teams to understand SME lending requirements.o Understand and document the end-to-end SME loan origination process, from customer application through assessment, approval and loan disbursement.o Analyse existing lending processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.o Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.o Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.o Understand requirements around SME customer onboarding, loan applications, credit assessment, approval workflows and loan processing.o Understand and document business rules, eligibility criteria, credit policies, approval authorities and workflow requirements.o Analyse requirements related to SME loan products, facilities, limits, pricing, fees, collateral and repayment terms.o Work with Credit and Risk teams to understand credit assessment and decision-making requirements within the loan origination process.o Identify process gaps, dependencies and impacts across upstream and downstream banking processes.o Prepare functional specifications, process flows, business requirement documents and other project documentation.o Conduct requirement walkthroughs and obtain agreement and sign-off from business stakeholders.o Work closely with the implementation team to clarify functional requirements and ensure the delivered solution meets business expectations.o Support SIT and UAT activities by preparing test scenarios, reviewing test cases and coordinating with business users.o Support defect analysis by clarifying expected business behaviour and validating fixes.o Coordinate with business stakeholders during UAT and support successful implementation of changes.o Support production implementation, post-implementation validation and resolution of functional issues.

Must have

• o 8+ years of working experienceo Strong experience as a Functional Business Analyst in Banking / Financial Services.o Strong functional knowledge of Loan Origination / Lending processes.o Hands-on functional experience in SME / Commercial Lending.o Good understanding of the end-to-end SME loan lifecycle, from application to approval and disbursement.o Strong understanding of loan products, credit assessment, lending processes and approval workflows.o Experience working with Credit, Risk, Operations and SME Banking stakeholders.o Good understanding of business rules, eligibility criteria, credit policies and approval authorities.o Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis and functional documentation.o Strong experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, process flows, user stories and acceptance criteria.o Strong experience in SIT and UAT coordination and businesses validation.o Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.o Ability to work with business users and delivery teams in a large banking transformation programme.
