Job summary

SCIENTE is seeking a Business Analyst to join our IT Applications team to streamline business processes and support in-house applications. You will gather requirements, perform gap analysis, translate needs into specs, and help drive testing and UAT to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a degree in business/IT, 1 year of BA experience (or internship), strong communication, and a passion for process improvement and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in business or IT-related field with strong emphasis on analysis.
• Experience in gathering business requirements and documenting functional specs.
• Ability to analyse processes and suggest improvements.
• SQL knowledge for querying data and validating requirements.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work with business users/product owners to gather requirements across multiple applications.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Create and execute testing plans and coordinate UAT activities.
• Track project progress, issues, and risks to ensure milestones are met.
• Support and maintain multiple application systems and platforms.
• Follow organizational standards and project guidelines.
