Job summary

SCIENTE is seeking an entry-level (junior) Business Analyst to join the IT Applications team to support and enhance in-house applications. The role focuses on understanding business needs and translating them into actionable requirements.

You will work with business users to gather requirements, perform gap analyses, and assist in testing and documentation, while growing your BA skills in a collaborative IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements with users for multiple applications and platforms.

We are looking for an entry-level (junior) Business Analyst to join the IT Applications team to support and enhance in-house applications.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science;
• Must have 1 year of experience in a Business Analyst role in delivering and supporting IT applications;
• Must have experience in gathering requirements, performing gap analysis, and preparing documentation;
• Demonstrated understanding of business needs with a strong interest in business process analysis and re-engineering;
• Foundational knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write and understand queries;
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders;
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to develop innovative solutions.

Desired Skill-set

• tCBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certified.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working with business users/product owners to gather business requirements, supporting multiple applications systems and platforms;
• Translate business needs to ensure that developers and business users have a common consent;
• Articulate business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications;
• Create and execute testing plans and coordinate User Acceptance Test (UAT);
• Facilitate the tracking and reporting of project progress, issues, and risks to ensure timely delivery of project milestones;
• Proficient in concurrently supporting multiple application systems and platforms;
• Adhere to the organization and project standards & guidelines.
