Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore invites a hands-on analyst to join a team supporting digital student services. The role blends business analysis, system support, data analysis, testing, and programming, with exposure to digital transformation across a large organisation.

You will gather user requirements, translate them into system specs and user stories, support testing and UAT, and assist with data migration and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of SDLC, requirements gathering and software testing.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to SQL, Python, VBA or low-code platforms will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, Denodo or Snowflake is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with both business users and technical teams.
• Experience with programming would be greatly advantageous

Responsibilities

• Gather user requirements and translate business needs into clear system requirements, user stories and process flows.
• Review existing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Support system enhancements, testing, UAT, defect tracking and implementation activities.
• Provide Level 2 application support and coordinate issue resolution with IT teams and vendors.
• Perform data extraction, cleansing, reconciliation and analysis using Excel and SQL.
• Support system configuration using low-code tools and assist with data migration activities.
• Prepare and maintain system documentation, user guides, FAQs and training materials.
• Support project workshops, meeting documentation, action tracking and rollout activities.

Key Responsibilities
