Job summary

A-IT Software Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Business Analyst to collate and manage application details across a business vertical, including system interfaces and data content, and to support daily BAU activities.

You will work with stakeholders, document changes, and assist the Project Manager with impact assessments, ensuring governance and long-term standardization in data flow and front-end configuration.

Responsibilities

• Collate and manage all the details regarding the application for the assigned business vertical.
• Support user community on business queries and guidance on better usage of the system on daily BAU activities.
• Clear understanding of the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment.
• Govern governance on design to align data flow with strategic processing requirements for impacted projects.
• Collate and rationalise all stakeholders’ requirements and walkthrough with team.
• Partner with the team in solutioning to ensure long-term, standardized design and front-end configuration perspective.
• Assess and propose testing approach and sign-off criteria to stakeholders with concurrence.
• Oversee UAT management including timelines, batch runs, and tester results.
• Prepare documentation on data flow, design, business solutioning and testing approach per template.

Job description

1. Collate and manage all the details regarding the application for the assigned business vertical - information could span from details of systems interfacing, content of the various data being posted, data held within the application etc.

2. Support user community on business queries and guidance on better usage of the system on daily BAU activities.

3. Clear understanding the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment. Clearly document the rationale for projects where no impact is assessed.

4. For project where there is an impact, play a governance role in ensuring that the design (in terms of the level of information required from source to core processing is aligned with the strategic data flow strategy.

5. Collate and rationalise all stakeholders’ requirements and walkthrough these requirements with team.

6. Actively partnering with the team in the solutioning process to ensure that the business solutions being implemented are thought through from a long term, standardization, design for no operations, front-end configuration perspective.

7. Assess and propose appropriate testing approach and sign off criteria to stakeholders and get concurrence.

8. Overall UAT management in terms of UAT timeline, batch run/ re-run and managing the tester’s testing result.

9. Prepare proper documentation on the data flow, design, business solutioning and testing approach in accordance with predefined template.
