Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Business Analyst to join a cross-functional team delivering digital solutions for governance, risk and compliance (GRC).

Hybrid work at Pasir Panjang with a chance of renewal/conversion from a full-time contract. You will gather and document requirements, map processes, run workshops, translate needs into user stories, and collaborate with product managers, developers and designers to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years as Business Analyst in software/digital products.
• Strong requirements gathering, process analysis and stakeholder management.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
• Understanding of SDLC, testing and release processes.
• Ability to understand APIs, integrations, cloud services and data flows.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Nice-to-have: Government/regulatory SaaS/GRC/enterprise workflow platforms (IM8/ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.

• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to identify pain points and opportunities.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules and process flows.
• Work with Product Managers to prioritise product backlogs and manage changing requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and designers to develop practical, scalable solutions.
• Support UAT, testing, release readiness and operational handover.
• Contribute to AI-assisted workflows and continuous assurance capabilities.
• Support Agile delivery activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Join a cross-functional team developing digital solutions that improve organization's governance, risk and compliance (GRC) processes. You will work closely with product managers, developers, designers and operations teams to streamline workflows, support security compliance, and contribute to automation and AI-enabled solutions.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Min. 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst within software or digital product environments.
• Strong requirements gathering, process analysis and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban delivery methodologies.
• Good understanding of SDLC, testing and release processes.
• Ability to understand technical concepts such as APIs, system integrations, cloud services, identity management and data flows.
• Strong communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
• Good to Have: Experience within government, regulated environments, SaaS, GRC, IM8, ServiceNow or enterprise workflow platforms.
