Job summary

Saksoft Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our banking solutions team in Singapore. You will design user journeys for Trade and Payments front-end platforms, analyze trade financing domains, and translate business needs into functional specs.

The role requires strong domain knowledge in corporate banking, entitlement management, and agile development, with a focus on delivering clear requirements and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Trade and Supplier Financing Business Analysis (8–10 years).
• Experience in Corporate Payments Business Analysis (5 years).
• Experience in Digital Channels (5+ years).
• Understanding of corporate channel entitlement models, including user access, roles, and authorization.
• Proven experience in corporate banking channels with entitlement management.
• Capturing, analysing and eliciting business requirements; elaborating JIRA stories.
• Agile product development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design user journeys and customer experiences for Trade/Payments Front-End Corporate Banking platforms.
• Work with trade domain areas: LC, Collections, Bank Guarantees/SBLC, Invoice Financing, Factoring/SCF.
• Analyze Domestic and Cross Border Payments processes and requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications from business requirements documents.
• Develop and maintain RBAC frameworks aligned to roles and organization hierarchy.
• Document and model current and to-be business/operational processes.
• Perform impact assessments and estimate scope for changes.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure clear requirements understanding.
• Translate business requirements into test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions on application enhancements.
• Maintain knowledge base on features and processes; act as SME.
• Support testing, scope management, and defect/change request classification.
• Assist project change requests with impact and effort estimation.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of designing user journeys and customer experiences for Trade and Payment Front-End Corporate Banking platforms.
• Strong Trade Domain Knowledge in the following areas:
  • Letter of Credit (LC)
  • Collections
  • Bank Guarantees / SBLC
  • Invoice Financing
  • Factoring / Supply Chain Finance

• Responsible to identify and define detailed functional specifications based on the business requirements document
• Design and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks to ensure users receive appropriate access based on their responsibilities and organizational hierarchy
• Analyse and document the "to-be" business and operation processes based on the agreed requirements and / or function points, perform impact assessment and estimation
• Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements and scope-creep

• Participate in transitioning the requirements to the designers and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.

• Facilitate / provide "Train-the-Trainer" on application enhancements

Mandatories are:

• Experience in Trade and Supplier Financing Business Analysis. 8-10 years

• Experience in Digital Channels. 5 years+
• Strong understanding of corporate channel entitlement models, including user access, roles, and authorization frameworks.
• Proven experience in corporate banking channels with strong expertise in entitlement management, including user access controls, role-based permissions, and authorization frameworks.
• Capturing, analysing and eliciting business Requirements: Elaborating JIRA stories
• Agile product development experience

Nice to haves are

• Knowledge of features offered by competitors such as DBS / Citibank etc
• Knowledge of Technology trends eg. how does a digital bank approach digital channels?
