Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between stakeholders and IT teams in Singapore-based projects.

You will elicit and document business requirements, translate them into functional specs or user stories, and support design, testing, and implementation to ensure alignment with tender scope. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of BA experience in IT/software, strong English communication, and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau), SQL, and

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in requirements engineering for Enterprise Bespoke System or similar.
• 3+ years as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects including requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
• IIBA certifications (ECBA/CCBA/CBAP) or PMI-PBA preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, CS, IT or related field preferred.
• Advanced degree such as MBA or MS in business analytics preferred.
• Entry-level Project Management certification preferred.
• Government of Singapore project experience preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and scripting (Python/R) preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, BPMN/UML modelling and SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business requirements via stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing specifications.

• Support solution design, testing (including UAT), and implementation by validating requirements against predefined scope.
• Manage changes to requirements through the project lifecycle, evaluating impacts on tender specifications before approval.
• Manage stakeholders to align expectations, specify requirements within the solution platform's capabilities, communicate progress, and minimize scope creep.
