Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore is seeking a Deputy/Assistant Manager, Bus Excellence to lead initiatives that transform the public bus experience. You will work across engineering, operations and stakeholder engagement to improve safety, comfort and reliability for millions of daily riders.

In this role you will influence bus design, testing and lifecycle refinements, ensuring modifications serve purpose and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in engineering disciplines applicable to vehicle systems and transport operations.
• Experience in driving or supporting improvement projects in automotive/engineering fleets.
• Strong communication with diverse internal and external partners.
• Analytical and systematic approach to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support bus design and lifecycle improvements to enhance safety and accessibility.
• Coordinate across engineering, operations and stakeholder engagement for bus performance initiatives.
• Plan and oversee trials of new technologies and safety features on buses.
• Engage bus captains and commuters to gather feedback and translate into actions.
• Support mid-life refurbishment and other fleet improvement programmes.
