You will work independently in a frontline role, ensuring precise measurements and strict compliance. The role requires holding an MPA Bunker Surveyor License, a Diploma in Maritime Studies or related field, and physical readiness to board vessels under diverse conditions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Independent bunker quantity and quality surveys onboard vessels and bunker tankers.
• Prepare detailed, accurate survey reports documenting findings and data.
• Identify, investigate and report bunker discrepancies or violations with data-driven recommendations.
• Ensure operations comply with MPA regulations and industry standards (SS 600, TR 48).
• Coordinate proactively with Shipping Agents, Bunker Suppliers, and Clients on-site.

We are seeking an autonomous, highly reliable, and licensed Marine Bunker Surveyor to join our marine operations team. In this critical frontline role, you will independently conduct bunker quantity and quality surveys (BQS) onboard vessels and bunker tankers within the Port of Singapore

Job Responsibilities

• Independent Survey Execution: Conduct comprehensive bunker quantity and quality surveys (BQS) onboard diverse vessels and bunker tankers independently, ensuring precise measurement and strict compliance.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and deliver detailed, accurate, and timely survey reports that document findings, calculations, and operational data to support commercial and technical decision-making.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Promptly identify, investigate, and report any bunker discrepancies, variances, or potential violations. Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to resolve disputes effectively.
• Regulatory Compliance: Execute all operations in strict accordance with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) regulations, SS 600, TR 48, and the latest industry standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison on-site, coordinating proactively with Shipping Agents, Bunker Suppliers, and Clients to ensure seamless on-arrival surveys and smooth turnaround times.

Job Requirements

• Professional License: Must hold a valid, current Bunker Surveyor License issued by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). (Crucial Requirement)
• Education: Diploma in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or a related marine/nautical discipline providing foundational maritime knowledge.
• Physical Readiness: Fit and willing to board vessels and bunker tankers under various weather and operational conditions.
