The role focuses on bunker fuel surveys on board vessels, coordinating with clients, performing sampling and assembling survey documents. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Nautical, Marine Engineering or Maritime Transportation, with preference for those with a bunker surveyor license from MPA or COC tickets and shore surveying experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nautical, Marine Engineering or Maritime Transportation from local polytechnics.
• Shore experience with marine surveying is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including outside office hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Attend on board vessels to carry out surveys pertaining to bunker fuel.
• Coordinate with VPS customers regarding work schedules and requirements.
• Carry out sampling and measurements.
• Prepare survey documents.
