Job summary

MAEK CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks an A.Engineer/Engineer/Consultant specialized in building assessment with expertise in NDT, drone operations, photogrammetry, and laser scanning.

The candidate will work across office and on-site environments in Singapore, applying advanced tech to evaluate building conditions and deliver actionable insights. You will prepare detailed, client-focused reports and support maintenance or repair decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Experience in building assessment, non-destructive testing, or structural diagnostics.
• Drone operation, photogrammetry tools, and laser scanning equipment proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough building assessments using non-destructive testing methods.
• Identify structural, material, or performance issues and provide remediation recommendations.
• Perform visual inspections, diagnostics, and condition surveys to evaluate asset integrity.
• Operate drones for aerial inspections and photogrammetry to capture high-resolution imagery and data.
• Utilize laser scanning to create accurate 3D models of structures.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project goals and deliver tailored solutions.
• Develop detailed assessment reports and presentations with recommendations for maintenance or repair.
• Provide expert consultation on NDT, photogrammetry and related technologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and tools in non-destructive testing and digital surveying.
• Ensure inspections comply with applicable standards and safety regulations.
