Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking an Engineer to join its expanding operations team in Singapore. The role involves routine and non-routine testing assignments with timely, accurate results under minimal supervision, while upholding safety and company policies.

Responsibilities include operating NDT testing on site, reporting results, supporting colleagues, ensuring SINGLAS accreditation, and contributing to training of junior staff. Strong civil engineering knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Science.
• Working knowledge of construction site and laboratory safety is beneficial.
• Possesses a broad understanding of civil engineering concepts and terminology.
• Strong knowledge of multiple civil engineering areas and ability to apply academic knowledge in Element’s business.

Responsibilities

• Operate NDT testing on site, including test arrangement, testing and reporting.
• Provide technical analysis and guidance to coworkers and customers.
• Ensure compliance with SINGLAS accreditation requirements and lab safety rules.
• Develop training materials and deliver technical training to colleagues.
