Job summary

BANEN ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer for vibrant Singapore construction projects.

The role oversees co-ordination of M&E works, liaising with subcontractors and consultants, and ensuring on-schedule delivery per approved drawings and safety standards. The position requires a diploma or bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering fields and at least 3 years in building construction, with strong knowledge of Singapore practices and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
• Experience in M&E coordination, site execution and project delivery.
• Experience working with an A1/Main Contractor in Singapore is strongly preferred.
• Experience on Healthcare, Residential, Commercial, Mixed-Use or other large-scale building projects will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices and M&E coordination, with good communication and technical problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Mechanical & Electrical works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with M&E subcontractors and monitor site works to meet programme, quality and safety requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams on M&E technical and coordination matters.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, method statements, material and technical submissions.
• Monitor site progress and assist in resolving M&E interfaces with architectural and structural works.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections and handover while ensuring compliance with authority, safety and quality requirements.
