The role involves routine and non-routine testing, delivering timely and accurate results with minimal supervision while upholding safety, code of conduct and company policies. The engineer will operate NDT testing onsite, prepare reports, support SINGLAS accreditation, and assist in the professional development of technicians and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering or material science.
• Fresh graduate welcome.
• Knowledge of safety on construction sites beneficial.
• Able to read/translate construction drawings and technical requirements for testing conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Operate NDT testing onsite, including test arrangement, testing and reporting.
• Provide counsel to coworkers and customers requiring data analysis.
• Be responsible for SINGLAS accreditation.
• Assist in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers.
• Utilize diverse testing methods and materials for analysis.
• Read and interpret drawings and technical requirements for testing conclusions.
• Present testing results to a range of stakeholders.
• Review test reports to ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for inspections.
• Develop training material and deliver technical training to laboratory staff.
