Job summary

KUNTAI ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project manager with on- and off-site meetings, coordinate site progress, and ensure technical issues are addressed promptly.

You will read construction/shop drawings, monitor KPI, prepare MTO/LOM, and verify specifications while coordinating with sub-contractors and RE/RTO, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in Singapore projects.
• Able to read construction/shop drawings and understand detailing.
• Understand ISO 9001 clauses and being able to implement / audit procedures is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with on- and off-site meetings pertaining to technical issues.
• Responsible for submission of Architectural samples, shop drawings, and other related documents to the consultants or authorities.
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at the site including periodical site inspection and attend meetings during the course of the project.
• Able to coordinate well with sub-contractors, RE, and RTO.
• Development of Procedures, detailed Engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Plan monthly work schedules and set productivity to be achieved.
• Conduct Material Take Off (MTO) and management of List of Materials (LOM) to monitor the progress of projects.
• Verify technical specifications for adequacy.
• Disseminate technical specifications to the supervisor.
• Identify and record any product quality problems and implement solutions.

• Familiar with construction sequence and Method Statement or different trade
• Able to read construction/shop drawings and understand detailing
• Understand ISO 9001 clauses and being able to implement / audit procedures is an added advantage
• Must be able to monitor project KPI requirements
