Job summary

TAKSHA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer to manage R&R projects and coordinate with sub-contractors, clients, consultants and vendors. You will supervise on-site works, ensure safety, quality and timely delivery while maintaining documentation.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Building/ Civil & Structural Eng or related field, with 4–5 years in the construction sector. Singaporean driving license is advantageous and the position is site-based.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Building / Civil & Structural Engineering or related field.
• Experience considered in lieu of qualification.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and MS Project.
• Self-motivated, independent worker with a positive attitude.
• Team player willing to be stationed at site office.
• Possess Singapore Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
• Min 4–5 years in Building Construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage R&R projects.
• Plan with sub-contractors on project execution including implementation.
• Supervise project works and coordinate workers, sub-contractors and vendors.
• Execute project works per drawings and specifications.
• Resolve client/resident complaints or feedback.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and vendors on project matters.
• Attend site meetings where applicable.
• Track progress and submit reports to ensure on-time, budget-compliant delivery.
• Coordinate and hand over completed projects to clients.
• Maintain all project documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments and supervise works.
• Follow safety procedures and eliminate hazards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage R&R Projects
• Plan and discuss with sub-contractors on project execution including implementation.
• Manage and supervise project works as well as oversee all workers, sub-contractors and vendors to ensure proper work execution and good workmanship.
• Execute project works based on the drawing / specification. '
• Resolve any Clients and / or residents' complaints / feedbacks.
• Liaise and co-ordinate with Clients, Consultants and Vendors on all project matters.
• Attend site meeting, if applicable.
• Track work progress and submit progress report so as to ensure that the projects are executed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate the project work to ensure successful completion as well as hand over to the Clients.
• Maintain all the documentation for the projects.
• Coordinate and work with other departments as well as to supervise the project works.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Building / Certificate in Civil & Structural Engineering or related field.
• Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• PC literate and knowledge in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project)
• Positive and good working attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• A good team player and willing to be stationed at the site office.
• Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving license. If have added advantage
• Min 4-5 years working experience in Building Construction Industry.
