Job summary

Staffhub Group is seeking a Site Manager (Construction) in Singapore to assist the Project Manager with day-to-day site operations, planning and cost control. You will liaise with clients, consultants, authorities and subcontractors to resolve project matters and ensure quality and safety on site.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (Diploma/Bachelor) and 2–4 years of experience in managing construction teams for projects of similar scale.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in managing construction teams for similar-scale projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Meticulous and able to work independently.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring day-to-day operations and site management, including planning and cost control.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities and subcontractors on project matters.

• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve discrepancies in drawings and during execution.
• Carry out in-progress and joint inspections to ensure quality standards.

• Update the project quality plan as appropriate.

About the job Site Manager (Construction)

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operations projects and construction site operation, including planning and cost control
• Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities and sub-contractors on the project matters
• Attend regular meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-cons on the project related matters
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those risen during the project execution
• Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection and to ensure that the works were executed to the required quality standard
• Ensure safety & compliance of work on site
• Update the project quality plan as and when appropriate

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• At least 2 years (Degree holders) / 4 years (Diploma holders) of experience in managing Construction teams for projects of similar scale and complexity
• Skilful in Microsoft Office and Auto CAD
• Meticulous and able to work independently
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
