Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' related experience in Singapore.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and MS Office.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Available to commence on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistical, administrative and operational construction aspects, liaising with main contractor and C&S consultants.
• Plan the work sequence and manpower deployment for site works.
• Supervise workers and monitor steel erection on sites.
• Prepare shop drawings and fabrication drawings as per approved drawings.
• Attend technical and progress meetings with main contractor and consultants.
• Ensure works comply with safety procedures and are completed on time and within budget.
• Report progress to the project team and participate in on-site meetings.

Job Description

• To be responsible for the logistical, administrative and operational construction project aspects including liaising with main contractor and C&S consultant for project requirements and progress.
• Before preparing the shop drawing, site survey will be taken and highlight discrepancies to main con if any found.
• To plan the work sequence and manpower deployment requirements for the construction site works.
• To supervise workers and monitor steel erection on sites.
• To ensure efficient utilization of manpower, raw materials and consumables for our construction projects at construction sites.
• To ensure that construction of steel structural are completed as per approved drawings within the required deadline and allocated budget.
• To take actions to resolve any delay/ technical issues/ difficulties that may arise on construction sites.
• To ensure the works at construction sites carried out are complying with safe work procedures.
• To report to the project team on work progress at construction sites.
• To attend meetings with main con and consultants.
• Prepare shop drawing
• Preparing fabrication drawing and materials quantity as per approved shop drawing.
• Attending technical and progress meeting.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field at Singapore is required for this position.
• Good written communication skills
• Able to use AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently, multi-task hardworking
• Preferably able to commence within short notice
