Job summary

Aon is seeking a proactive professional to support our regional retrocession teams across Asia Pacific, with a focus on Asia regions and South Korea. You will help provide best-in-class services to key clients and collaborate with global teams on market insights.

Role involves building business intelligence, coordinating strategic approaches, and supporting growth initiatives to articulate Aon’s value proposition to prospective clients across Asia. Travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in treaty reinsurance or related work in insurance or reinsurance industries.
• Strong interpersonal, client management and communication capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic data handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist regional retro team and local teams to deliver best-in-class services to key retrocession clients in Asia and South Korea.
• Work with global teams to provide market insights to local teams and clients.
• Coordinate effective inwards business strategies for key retrocession clients across regions.
• Assist regional teams in Asia Pacific to build a business intelligence database.
• Support retrocession growth by articulating Aon’s value proposition to target prospects in Asia.

What The Day Will Look Like

• Assist regional retro team and relevant local team to provide best-in-class services to key retrocession clients, especially focused on Asia regions and South Korea
• Work with global teams to provide leading market insights to local teams and clients
• Work with regional and global teams to coordinate effective inwards business strategies for key retrocession clients across the regions

Assist Technical Analytic Support Within Teams

• Work with regional retro team across Asia Pacific to build business intelligence database

Support New Business Opportunities

• Assist retrocession growth initiatives to effectively sell Aon's value proposition toward target prospects across Asia regions

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Ideally 1–3 years of experience in treaty reinsurance related work at an insurance company, reinsurance company, reinsurance intermediary is a strong plus but not strictly required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, client management and communication capabilities and the ability to interface with various business units
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to travel within the Asia region to facilitate client presentations, seminars and conferences as required.
• High self-motivation and ability to work independently and take initiative
• Ability to work in a collaborative and matrixed environment
