Qualifications

• 1–3 years in treaty reinsurance related work at an insurance company or reinsurance entity is a strong plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, client management and communication capabilities and the ability to interface with various business units.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel within the Asia region to facilitate client presentations, seminars and conferences.
• High self-motivation and ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Support key retrocession clients across Asia regions, focusing on Asia and South Korea.
• Coordinate with global teams to provide market insights to local teams and clients.
• Work with regional and global teams to coordinate inwards business strategies for key clients across regions.
• Assist technical analytic support within teams, including building business intelligence databases.
• Support retrocession growth initiatives to effectively communicate Aon's value proposition to target prospects in Asia.

What the day will look like

Support key retrocession clients:

• Assist regional retro team and relevant local team to provide best-in-class services to key retrocession clients, especially focused on Asia regions and South Korea
• Work with global teams to provide leading market insights to local teams and clients
• Work with regional and global teams to coordinate effective inwards business strategies for key retrocession clients across the regions

Assist technical analytic support within teams:

• Work with regional retro team across Asia Pacific to build business intelligence database

Support new business opportunities:

• Assist retrocession growth initiatives to effectively sell Aon's value proposition toward target prospects across Asia regions

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Ideally 1–3 years of experience in treaty reinsurance related work at an insurance company, reinsurance company, reinsurance intermediaryis a strong plus but not strictly required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, client management and communication capabilities and the ability to interface with various business units
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to travel within the Asia region to facilitate client presentations, seminars and conferences as required.
