Job summary

The King's Chippy in Sentosa is seeking a British Food Promoter for a full-time role at Quayside Isle. You will be the face of authentic British cuisine, engaging customers and driving awareness of our menu offerings and brand values.

You will blend customer service, hospitality, and promotional activities to enhance the overall dining experience and promotional campaigns. Passion for British food and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality roles is preferred.
• Prior modeling and events experience is preferred.
• Strictly Singaporean and Permanent Residents only.
• Genuine passion and enthusiasm for British food culture and cuisine is preferred
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse customer groups
• Some knowledge of British food traditions, dishes, and beverage pairings (or willingness to develop this quickly)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment whilst maintaining high standards
• Professional dressing and demeanour.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
• Friendly, outgoing personality with natural promotional abilities

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to promote British food offerings and menu items, highlighting unique dishes and specialities.
• Handle POS systems
• Serve beverages and food items with exceptional hospitality standards and attention to detail
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations about British cuisine, ingredients, and authentic preparation methods
• Assist in creating an authentic British dining atmosphere and experience for all guests
• Support promotional campaigns and special events designed to increase brand awareness
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and build positive relationships with guests
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Keep the dining area clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally and courteously
