Job summary

You will support the Head Chef, assist with planning, food preparation, presentation and storage of dishes, and ensure a clean, well-organized workstation. Strong English communication and a valid food handler permit are valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience or formal training.
• Valid food handler permit or health permit as required by local authorities.
• Ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes; assist in decoration and storage.
• Assist head chef to monitor costs and ensure alignment with budget.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow OH&S guidelines.
• Attend daily briefings and training sessions and communicate with the team.
